Export CSV from First Direct

Overview

First Direct (part of HSBC Group) offers CSV exports through their Online Banking service. JoinFunds auto-detects the First Direct CSV format.

Go to www1.firstdirect.com and log in with your online banking credentials.

Choose the current account or savings account you want to export.

Click Statements or Transaction history. Select the date range you want.

Click Download and select CSV format. Save the file to your computer.

Go to the Import page and upload the file. First Direct's format is auto-detected.

First Direct is part of HSBC but uses its own CSV format. JoinFunds distinguishes between First Direct and HSBC formats automatically.
