Can I switch between Starter and Plus?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from Settings. Upgrading is instant. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your billing period.

Is there a free trial for Plus?

There’s no time-limited trial because Starter is free forever. Use Starter as long as you like, and upgrade to Plus when you need partner collaboration or unlimited accounts.

How do payments work?

We use Stripe for secure payments. Pay monthly or yearly (save with annual billing). All prices are in GBP.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, cancel anytime from Settings. You keep Plus features until the end of your billing period, then revert to Starter. No cancellation fees.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Your bank CSV files are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to any server. Stored data is encrypted at rest and in transit in AWS eu-west-2 (London). We are fully UK GDPR compliant with data export and deletion rights.

How does the free tier work?

Starter gives you up to 3 bank accounts, 5 CSV imports per month, 10 custom categories, dashboard with monthly overview, budget tracking, annual reports, and PDF exports. It is genuinely free with no time limit and no credit card required.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

All your data is preserved. If you exceed Starter limits (e.g., more than 3 accounts), existing data remains visible but you cannot add new items until you are within limits. Your partner access will be removed.

Yes. The annual plan saves you compared to paying monthly. You can also use the code EARLYBIRD20 for 20% off your first year, available to the first 20 customers.
